Compression settings
Re-encodes with H.264 (same resolution — no scaling). Higher CRF means smaller files and lower quality. Output is MP4.
23 — balanced
Typical range 18–28. Same as image “quality”: lower = better picture, bigger file.
Slower presets squeeze a bit more quality at the same CRF, but take longer.
0 or empty = keep original FPS
Encoding runs in your browser and can be slow for long or 4K clips. The encoder downloads once (~30 MB) from the network.
